OT: Active shooter,now at Michigan State

At least 1 person dead. Very sad and dangerous situation. It’s worrisome for any campus or school. Even though I’m retired I’m on or near the UC San Diego campus or at nearby research centers during the week. These days classes are held thruout the day late until the evening, esp with our extension campus which I am now involved. There isn’t too much remote learning now, students, staff and faculty have been encouraged to return to campus in-person.
Not trying to be funny, but when I saw the title of this thread I thought it was about a revived Michigan State Basketball Team's shooter.
Ir's important to keep up with what's going on in CONUS, as it changes rapidly.
If only there were laws against shooting up college campuses, none of this would have happened.
A responsible gun owner is a responsible gun owner until the point at which he shoots eight.

Read the Wikipedia article on "Gun laws in Jamaica" ... and then consider that that's the same Jamaica that has the world's third highest homicide rate.

I’m so happy for you that your precious precious killing weapons are safe in this country while my son and his friends are hiding in fear in their dorm. I hold people like you responsible for these nightmares.
