The potholes have been fixed in the West Lot, we have hit a lull in the signing periods, the Spring "Game" is distant, the last bowl game has been played, so what to talk about for the present?
Football trees? Below is a link describing x and o football trees as a teaching tool for wide receivers. Curious if they are so termed and implemented in training at Northwestern?
Then there are the natural trees that inspired the poet Joyce Kilmer "I think that I shall never see a poem lovely as a tree."

And now for the OT diversion, here are some unique trees, hopefully also of interest to others, as captured last week on a visit to the Hoomaluhia Botanical Gardens of Kaneohe on Oahu.
(Well maybe tangentially topical in the sense of Coach Walker's oft made reference to the "apple not falling far from the tree.")

The Rainbow Eucalyptus
The Sealing Wax Palm
The Cacao Tree
Bamboo (Technically a grass, but sometimes defined as a tree)
