Offensive line woes continue. That will put Franklin or at least the OL coach on the hot seat.

I went to a Temple game last year. They are not the punching back they used to be. They are not a terrible team at all.

Still an ugly loss for PSU.

First PSU loss to Temple since 1941. Regardless of how decent Temple is, Penn State simply can't lose to them.

The Owls were returning a lot of players and practiced/trained all off-season w/ a chip on their shoulder as they were shut out from a bowl bid.

This Temple team is better than the UNH team the 'Cats lost to a no. of years back.

Went to the game. Penn State still can't block. And the qb is overrated. NU should handle them again.

PSU fanbase is turning on Franklin; would also say turning on Hack, but many had already turned on him last season (not really fair, since no QB is going to look good w/ that piss-poor protection).

CJ was right about hacksack. I hope he is still their qb when we play ped state.

100% this. Penn State fell for the media hype. This guy is all sizzle. Good recruiter...great. Then what?

Most of his recruits aren't playing yet. The OL cupboard was left bare, and you don't change that overnight. Hack still holds the ball too long on occasion. They do need to change their scheme as they can't seem to block well enough for some of the routes they're running. If the OL looks as pathetic by the end of this year and the beginning of next, I'd say it's time for the "off with his head" cries to begin, although they'd probably begun last year as PSU after Northwestern ripped them.
