2 or 3 or 4 months in, I'll say that I officially like the new rivals message board layout.

- The mobile view is easily scannable.
- Snapping to where you last read in a thread - whether on a phone or computer - is great and a value-added feature
- the desktop view adds information that is not necessary but adds value
- the auto quote Is convenient and adds to the ease of following a thread
- I LOVE the like button, because it's nice to give and receive affirmation, no matter how insignificant

Things I miss
- I did like changing subject lines as they evolve, though the quote feature mitigates that loss

I'm not sure if it's my phone or the system
- I can't paste a link from my phone. I don't have this problem anywhere else (texting links, adding to email) from my phone

I don't ignore anyone, probably because I don't value my time enough, so i can't comment on that feature.

New website and feature rollouts are HARD. I think that Rivals/Yahoo nailed it.

Congrats to Lou for making it great.

I'm generally good with the new board, as I was when it was first deployed, for many of the reasons you talk about.

But, the biggest complaint I have, which I have pointed out multiple times is that they don't have a direct drop down to go to the other boards (Rock, hoops, rant) as well as other teams. THIS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and should be a very, very easy fix, so I don't know why Rivals hasn't gotten to it yet.
