He is clearly not going to displace Freeman as South Bend’s HC anytime soon. He may as well head down south and learn from the Master before he retires.

Anyone else surprised by the Reese move? Rather...surprised that Saban wanted him?
It's not all that surprising to me that Reese wanted to make a move; I have no strong opinion on Freeman but it's easy to imagine a scenario where he gets fired in the next 2-3 years, and if Reese's dream is to become the head coach at ND, I'd say there's next to a zero chance he directly follows Freeman out of the OC position.

I’m surrounded by Domers in my family. To a person, they love Freeman, a breath of fresh air after that idiot, that jerk, that purple-faced Kelly.
Freeman put OSU on blast before they played the Buckeyes. Of course later, he weenied out. That was disappointing.
