OT: Run for Walk

Love to hear your observations afterward, Fitz. My wife and I had given some thought to signing up, but the schedule didn't work out. May consider doing this in the future. Thoughts on the event?
It was a great event. Only about 800 runners/walkers, but a good number of family members and other folks in the audience. The course was nice, and went through campus, down by the Arch, and back up. Each mile marker was timed. Three water stations. At the finish line (on the 50-yard line), they had a pancake breakfast and lots of samples of nutritional drinks, as well as fruit, Clif bars, and the usual end-of-race stuff. Several sections of the stands were open for sitting. Willie and Fitz and Persa were there. Welsh-Ryan was open for restrooms and for race registration. For only $40, a great deal and a nice morning.
