Here are a couple spots for you....

NU outscored Indiana 62-33 over 33 of the 40 minutes, but the Hoosiers bested NU 30-0 (!) over those other 7 minutes -- 5:30 at the end of the first half and 1:33 at the end of the second.

Vic Law went 1 for 7 from the floor against IU and is now 15 for 75 (20 percent) since dropping 20 points on Nebraska on Jan. 26.

Here are our three pointers: Indiana spoils NU's dance party

Well written.

Another statistical slant-

Apparently we have won all our games in which we reached 65. Two more points would have gotten the Cats to 65. So close.
Actually, 2 more points would have gotten us to 64, but that still would have been enough to win!

They called that foul on Tap and not Lindsey? Not that it matters, but I am surprised.
We make a couple more free throws down the stretch and they would have had no chance at coming back. Seems like we missed the front end of every 1 and 1.

Regarding the foul, it was on Lindsey. I thought it was on Tap when it happened and the initial AP story (since updated) attributed it to Tap too. However, the official box score has it on Lindsey.

That is what I get for posting half asleep at 2AM Alaska Time. The 63 was of course Indiana's score, but as you note 3 more would have gotten us to the magic 65 though just 2 more was all that was needed.

Alaska, at 2:00 a.m. you should be fully asleep, not half asleep! Hope all is well with you. What are your NU football plans for the coming season?

If your wife gets you to bring some more of those cookies from your neighborhood niche Pennsylvania bakery, I will have to start making some serious plans to get back to Evanston for at least homecoming.
