In the last decade, Mich was ranked in the preseason 7 times. They had two other years where they were unranked at outset and ended ranked. Mich has finished with a worse ranking at the EOY vs preseason in 7 of 10 years, not including years in which it neither started nor finished ranked. One year they started/ended the same.
Meanwhile, we've been ranked once preseason, but did not end up ranked, and we finished the season ranked five other times.
Now, we all know that they have 5 star talent and a super bowl coach, so they could "get it" at any point, crush us in our upcoming game and win the B1G. but - why?
