Kids going to be a player. Just has good instincts, great hands, and a Big 10 body. Could play on any Big 10 team.

Didn't want to get too excited after 2 games (and only one against a P5 team), but while Stone has the edge, Pardon is making him work for it.

Darn pretty good when Stone has the size advantage (3 inches and 20 lbs), played all season and in all likelihood will be a lottery pick.

Now, if only Demps would pass it to Pardon when he's wide open. Then we'd really have something.

lol. i agree. Both guards refused to pass to him almost the whole night. I know Collins was telling mac to slow it down but pardon runs thefloor really fast (kentucky like) and had an easy 6 slams if only tossed the ball. His hands are phenomenal plus this dude has to have an 85 inch span with those arms. When he gets the ball, his bb iq is unrivaled on our team.

And you know all of this from 2+ games? I can guarantee you that he did not have an "easy 6 slams" vs. Maryland that were bypassed...

can we agree to spilit the difference?
Those long passes are often 50/50 in that so many of them are overthrown. Likely would have resulted in a couple baskets but also a couple turnovers. Still adjusting to his skills and as the season goes on, BMac might be more comfortable with those passes.

If only to set up a better three.

Through three games Pardon is shooting 82% from the field.

I don't know, maybe when he gets the ball defenses are going to double and overplay him a bit?Might be worth trying once or twice in a game to see what happens?

Usually, when the big man is in position and puts out a big mit that's when he wants the ball. Maybe spread that around before the OSU game.

That's a matter of execution. We have to improve on our passing into the post. We are not very good at it right now.

He was talking running the floor which tends to mean the long pass and those are often pretty iffy, especially when guys are not used to playing with him at game speed.. Yes we have to pass better into the post.
