Worry not. VC hasn't been updated yet. The 7 offers include one 5* (Stewart), 5 4*s and a 3* per 247. If any of these guys commit NU will have done well. The verbal commits tracker indicates we have 5 spots open, but only one non-2 star offer out. Should I be worried? When will this pick up?

Just so I don't have to sit with Mystic or DocCatsFan......If these guys commit, I am taking everyone to the Dance and sitting between Walker and Va. (I am seating Wrassler between Mike and GCG.)

Thanks. How do are recruiting "experts" feel about NU's chances with these kids?Beverly was offered recently. He's a 4*
None of the 247 "experts" have NU as the favorite for any of these kids. Kansas is the favorite for the two kids from Kansas. Hard to beat that.Thanks. How do are recruiting "experts" feel about NU's chances with these kids?

You know what they say...”every kid that grows up in Kansas dreams of playing basketball at Northwestern”. I believe.
More like all Kansas kids dream of playing for a former Illinois coach.......I think they say "every 2nd tier kid who grows up in Kansas dreams of playing basketball for the Wildcats wearing Purple" ..... is that sort of the same?

That's 9 returning guys for 2019, correct? Roster size can be 13, right? Not always at NU however,There are three spots available for 2019 and not five spots:
Seniors - Benson, Turner and Falzon
Juniors - Gaines
Sophomores - Ivanauskus, Nance, Lathon, Kopp and Young
Decisions for 2019 are not made until the summer after camps occur or until fall. Vic Law was Collins’ first commit on July 4th.

Is't that only 9 and aren't we allowed 13 so wouldn't we have openings for 4? Unless we get a transfer with more than one year of eligibility. There are three spots available for 2019 and not five spots:

Yes. I guess "counting" was not part of WalkerFan's education. Is't that only 9 and aren't we allowed 13 so wouldn't we have openings for 4? Unless we get a transfer with more than one year of eligibility.
Nice try. The post was to reply to someone who claimed that we had 5 spots open for 2019 and why in March do we have no commits. 1) We don’t have 5 scholarships open. Ok. Maybe it is 4. You might have got me. Hope you feel better about yourself. But second it is not surprising that in March, we don’t have commits yet.
As for Backward Bobbie, how about that Isaac Haas prediction about having a better senior season than 2016-17 Big 10 POY Swanigan. Ooops! Shown to be clueless again and again. He was not even the best or second best player on his team.

Whether he gets drafted this year or next, he will get drafted. We can see how the two compare in draft slot. Of course, a career of NBA stats will be interesting too. My recurring point is that I like Haas over Swanigan - I would draft Haas before Swanigan. So, time will eventually answer this disagreement - nothing that you do or say will change or stop that simple fact.
How about if I sit with you and we pay no attention to anybody else. Wrassler can handle himself and Mike and GCG won't show up anyway, just like the bowl game!If these guys commit, I am taking everyone to the Dance and sitting between Walker and Va. (I am seating Wrassler between Mike and GCG.)
