On this date in 2009 Collin Ellis committed to the 'Cats. He was the first to commit in the class of 2010, which included some pretty solid contributors, e.g. Semian, I. Campbell, Vitable, Kolter, Ariguzo, Jorgenson, T. Jones, Lawrence and Mark. That same group formed the core of the team that won the bowl game. On the same date this year, Fitz and company have collected 15 verbal commits. I would submit that some credit for performance is in order.
