I'm still optimistic about our odds against Pitt, but I imagine most neutral people watching - as well as the football gods - may be on this kid's side in his final collegiate game. Whatever happens, his story is pretty inspirational after beating cancer - regardless of if he makes an NFL roster or not:

Me too. Conner is a heck of a kid and an inspiration to cancer victims & survivors all over. I wish him all the best in his NFL endeavors.

But our team is young, talented, and underestimated - and also has a great biography on the roster in a former Navy Seal vet Hruby (who is still looking for that elusive TD). I hope they play with a massive chip on their shoulder and stone Pitt regardless.
