Justin Fields beat the 49ers in a monsoon. Weather is indeed the great equalizer.

I am happy NU played close and that I didn’t take PSU minus the points or the Over. I am happy that the one-dimensional-by-choice PSU offense scored fewer points than SIU did. Maybe the defense and JON get some confidence.

But fundamentally it’s still a timid, conservative offense and a defense (granted, with a stouter middle) with a coordinator who has only ever failed.

The west sucks, but NU belongs in the west.

Let’s run the table.

Run the table? You indicate that you like to bet, would you put your hard earned money for us to cover in any remaining game (let alone win outright)?

That would be a terrible bet. Once we’ve won the next 4-5 games, we’ll start being big Vegas favorites every week and only a fool would bet on NU to cover as the favorite.
