If you haven't been checking BracketMatrix.com constantly over the last several weeks, I don't know what to say. Well, I wasted a few minutes this morning and clicked on every one of those links and gathered this data to try to figure out where NU is predicted to go to. Most of these predictions were made BEFORE Iowa's game, and many bracketologists don't pick sites in their predictions, but I just wanted an idea of where NU was getting picked right now just to have the info.
So of the 31 that picked NU matchups with a site, here's what I've got for you:
Birmingham - No one is picking NU to go to Birmingham!
Orlando - One picked NU as a seventh seed.
Sacramento - Two picked NU as a seventh seed.
Columbus - Two picked NU as a sixth seed.
Denver - Three picked NU as a seventh seed.
Des Moines - Four picked NU as a sixth seed, two others picked them as a seven.
Albany - Three picked NU as a fifth seed, three picked NU as a sixth seed, and one more picked them as a seven.
Greensboro - NINE picked NU as a sixth seed, with one more as a seven.
So based on nothing scientific at all, expect NU to go to Greensboro and play some large-conference team that won a First Four contest.
