Could it be that during exam weeks, players are getting less sleep? I think there are probably a bunch of studies on amount of sleep and injures but not why they are getting less sleep. And it isn't just the studying but also nerves that keep the athlete from getting the rest he/she needs. There are three possible reasons why I think our injury rate was high:
Strength and conditioning program
Recruiting players with injury concerns
Recruiting undersized players and telling them to gain weight quickly. (MrCat has told me this isn't it and he probably knows something about that).
