What a snowflake. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...nce-macron-boris-johnson-latest-a9232496.html
Great progress has been made by NATO over the last three years. Countries other than the U.S. have agreed to pay 130 Billion Dollars more per year, and by 2024, that number will be 400 Billion Dollars. NATO will be richer and stronger than ever before....— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 4, 2019 ....Just finished meetings with Turkey and Germany. Heading to a meeting now with those countries that have met their 2% GOALS, followed by meetings with Denmark and Italy....— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 4, 2019 ....When today’s meetings are over, I will be heading back to Washington. We won’t be doing a press conference at the close of NATO because we did so many over the past two days. Safe travels to all!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 4, 2019
I'm not exactly surprised that you don't see any value in a world leader who will actually admit to a past mistake while making a thoughtful public apology.
Exactly! It's not like the apology wasn't basically required at that point. What else was he gonna do?
I'm no fan of Trudeau given what happened within his administration last year. No fan of Boris Johnson. And Macron's grandstanding is laying pipe for a huge strike that will happen tomorrow in France that is about the horribly inconsistent pension policies that he needs to grow a pair to fix. With that said, Trump lacks seriousness necessary for even a low-level staffer, let alone the president. He is ill informed, runs his mouth about topics he knows little about and his instinct is to offend allies. As the video shows, he's viewed as a joke. His three different answers on Iran in less than eight hours is just a joke. Foreign leaders now do workarounds on every issue. Trump is the bad, hack pr guy as president.
Merkel is smart enough to not get caught on video with something like that. There is no upside for Canada in Trudeau being the instigator. When you're in that room, you assume everything said is public. Just sophomoric on Trudeau's part.
So he self outed and apologized before he was ever confronted with this picture? That is truly admirable. I mean, if it was responsive to a career threatening news item, I could see how it could be seen as contrived.
Polite but cruel. Here's a joke that was going around when I was there: "What do you call a bus full Paki's going over a cliff with two empty seats?"
She was probably a closet never-Trumper. IGNOREZ, we've been trying to tell you, everything Trump touches dies.
Ha. You are strong in low hanging fruit. Yup. We still get together weekly but that ship has sailed. It’s why I try to appreciate every moment in the moment. I will always cherish the memories. And now it’s in to the next adventure.
Not sure she even knew an election was lurking. I was her conduit to politics lite. Was never her interest.
I understand emotions run high when political subjects are discussed.... but can we leave the personal shit out of this, please??!! It is ruining what was once a pretty interesting, informative board. It was one of the few places I knew on the internet where liberals and conservatives could talk and debate without it breaking down into total nonsense. That is changing recently and its a damn shame. Argue over Trump - he's an a$$hole - but let's stop attacking each other - especially personal lives. That's just not right.
Great ad. Nothing but the truth! The world is laughing at President Trump. They see him for what he really is: dangerously incompetent and incapable of world leadership. We cannot give him four more years as commander in chief. pic.twitter.com/IR8K2k54YQ— Joe Biden (@JoeBiden) December 5, 2019
Of course it's true, but the right is in too deep with this guy. I am convinced many on the right, including those that post here, are not idiots. They know what is going on. Deep in their hearts, they know this is a tragedy unfolding, but they are in too deep. They have been forced to create this fictional reality where all is well, and as long as the trains are still running, there is nothing to worry about. But they are smart enough to know that these things have far-reaching consequences. That inner-turmoil must be churning. It's ok to be a conservative and believe in what you believe in while rejecting Donald Trump. He is not worth it.
All of us now are catering to this monstrous ego, Republicans, the media, even Democrats by not going full bore after all of the testimony they should be getting in the impeachment process. He is consuming us, like he consumes all of those who have gone to prison for him, been fired or otherwise trashed by him, and this is preventing the US from positive action on our most pressing issues.
I find this mantra hilarious. The whole, we are in the right and they will eventually follow. Bi-partisan support to impeach. R Senators switching sides. This is all purely partisan. Both sides. Except you have some ads that have and will decide this game will cost them their seats and defect. We have just witnessed the most partisan circus in the history of congress. Now the other side gets their day in the sun. As I predicted and every R in front of a camera has stated, things are going to be very different in the Senate.
I don't expect any R's in Congress to switch. They are all captives of Trump. I was more taking about regular, ordinary non-politicians who still have some integrity and decency. I predict they will come around. And the sooner they do, the better they will feel about themselves.
