Pretty rare we can win a game where Mac was that off (25% shooting, 7 TO’s). Everyone is allowed a rough night and I’m glad we got a win anyway.

Pardon was pretty much perfect though. Wisconsin had no defensive answer for him. Law quietly had a very nice game as well. Really active on both ends.

You don’t think...BMac is fighting off the flu? He looked tired, glassy-eyed from the tip-off.

Mac looked gassed. Ash came in first half and looked solid. He played for about six minutes and we added a point. We were up by 14 when he got on the floor, and were up by fifteen when he left. Mac comes in second half and turned the ball over four times. Collins needs his head examined. Mac did, to his credit, make four free throws down the stretch, but his poor shooting and turnovers let Wisconsin back in the game. Any win, by one point, is a good win! I’ll take it. But we need more Ash against Michigan.

Ash watched a Wisky player take a three after inexplicably staring at Happ, but making no move to guard him, either. He also committed a turnover that I had to watch on replay to actually believe he committed, it was that terrible. Oh well, at least his eight minutes of action was memorable!

Really you noticed all that from watching on a TV screen. For whatever reason Mac looked bad last night, he's looked like that all season. Maybe it's just a long flu season. Still I think he should definitely stop shooting from the arch and beyond in the future. His play making will be missed next season but Lathon might bring a few other scoring threats. A back-up LG needs to be added next season as Ash is not the answer and who knows where Brown might be.
