Northwestern was always the No. 1 school for three-star quarterback Aidan Smith, so it didn't take him very long after getting his offer to commit to the Wildcats.

Last year I believe we had 12 verbals prior to July. A few ended up backing out but I think we must have nabbed about 9 or so prior to July. Looks fairly consistent this year again.

Sorry, I didn't watch must tape, but I admit biases on those labeled "Pro Style". Doesn't that mean a drop back type that maybe has slight wiggle? IMO, the best Pro Style we ever had was CJ. I'm not saying he was fast but somehow that dude had tons of wiggle, could turn his body sideways, find holes, and buy a lot of time in the pocket. In fact, he was superb in the pocket.
