Question for Stye or anyone else who knows (CBS flex pickup?)

I'm familiar with the college football set up, but how do late season BIG basketball broadcasts work? It seems like the schedule gets pretty much set in stone prior to conference play, but every year I notice at least one "TBD" next to a late season match up.

Here's my question:

The games on 2/25 (@ IU) and 3/5 (Purdue) currently do not have broadcast distinctions. Could CBS or ESPN pick up one of these? If so, when would they make that call?

The 'Cats haven't been on CBS since 2011 and the atmosphere for that game (against the Illini) was fantastic. I would love to see that happen again on 3/5, especially considering the potential magnitude of the match up.

Thanks for the help!

As far as I know, the ESPN schedule is largely set, so those games will probably be on CBS or BTN. In either case, the dates are flexible as well - each game could be on Saturday or Sunday. They usually make the broadcast announcement a couple of weeks ahead of the game.

As of right now, I would expect Wisconsin-Michigan State and Michigan State-Maryland to get the CBS nods on those weekends, but you never know.
