R u kidding me? What a monster three by Demps!

Well I must say that was one of the most exhilarating, chest pain inducing cats games I think I have ever seen. Between Cobb, Olah, Demps, Lindsey and Law wow. I hope with a good run we can play in the NIT

To even have a chance for the NIT, we would have to beat Iowa or win at least two games at the United Center just to get to .500. And that might not be enough to get us in with our RPI still over 100. But never say never. I learned that after seeing us rally from 6 pts down with 10 seconds left.

I'm still stunned as I write this. How many turnovers have we created on inbounds all season? Can we count them on one hand? And we do it after an amazing rope-a-dope 3 by Demps.

THEN, everyone in the freakin' building knows it is going to Demps, we pass it to Cobb in a place where he is not going to possibly shoot the ball, and obvious ruse which Michigan completely falls for as Albrecht absolutely hounds Cobb (and, completely inexplicably, DOES NOT FOUL HIM), leaving Demps open for the three instead of double-teamed like he should have been!

It's been awhile since the game ended, and I am still trying to figure out what happened. That game was an absolute loss. There was no way we could win that game. NO. WAY.

We're at .500 now. All we have to do is beat Iowa and win one game in the B1G tournament and we will finish 17-16.

Beating Iowa in Iowa is going to be tough.

WHOOSH! Right over your bug loving head.

Let me try to explain. The NIT will allow .500 teams (e.g. a 16-16 UNC team a few years back). So, we could beat Iowa and not win any BTT games and would still qualify, though getting in would be a long shot given RPI (and failing to win in BTT).

EITHER WE HAVE TO BEAT IOWA, OR we win 2 in BTT.

Unless we win the BTT, we are assured of one more loss. So if we lose to Iowa, we would have to win 2 to stay at .500.

And of course, the more games we win, the better.

Kapeche?

I read the enlarged, highlighted "or" in catreporter's post as "and".

It kinda makes a difference

Crazy stuff! We were down by five in first OT and Michigan had the ball with 35 seconds left! Amazing and epic comeback!
Did you even watch the game? Actually, we were down 6 with less than 12 seconds left in the first OT. Demps hit two threes in nine seconds.

You're back in form Wrasslr!

I've been saying this for over a year now, but Demps needs to get business cards made that say,

Tre Demps
Baller[/I]

That game was so much fun, especially sitting behind Turk, giving him high fives throughout the game, and him having no idea who I am or that I post here.
