Lol Yes!My fondest hope, however, is a Duke-Loyola matchup in which Sister Jean trips Grayson Allen and then rolls over him.
I think it’s a really tough matchup for Loyola Agree.
One of our strengths this year has been to get good match ups inside,,,,either going Big with Krutwig...or quick with Jackson....I do not think either match up well with Wagner or anyone can match up with RObinson except Ingram and then they have other big quick guards.....gonna be tough....
Michigan looked awful tonight. I like their chances against Loyola, but they won't win if they shoot wide open shots like they did tonight.
Agreed. If each team plays like they did tonight, Loyola wins. If each team plays like they did plus Loyola cuts its turnovers by a third, Loyola wins by double digits.
If Wagner gets going like he did against A&M, that's an advantage for Michigan.
But I wouldn't bet against the Team of Destiny at this point.
I know some of us here would disagree (looking at you, Phat ), but if Loyola can't be in the final, I'll be pulling big-time for Michigan vs. either Villanova or Kansas. First choice, though - by a country mile - is Loyola.

Everyone is talking what a bad match up this is for Loyola. Let’s not forget NU beat Michigan. If big Mo has one his bad shooting days, Loyola can win. Would not shock me at all if Loyola wins this game.
The only thing is at some point Loyola's shooting percentage has to come back to reality (of course that point might come next year)
They have two guys that only shoot in the low 50s. And they are guys that get fouled a lot. Their overall FT % is low. Reminds me bit of UNLV under Tark. Other team just fouled and forced UNLV to shoot FTs and it did not work out well for themYup. If it's a close game, I didn't like the way Michigan handled pressure or shot free throws. They held a team to 30% shooting and barely won. Loyola has handled tight situations much better than Michigan thus far. I could see Michigan pulling it all together and playing like they did vs. A&M, but I could also see them spitting the bit.
