Speaking of following NU hoops closely: Does anybody know where we stand with the final two spots on our roster? I have been reading all sorts of speculation on WR. But honestly, I would be interested in finding out whom CC is pulling out the magic carpets for to get them to Evanston to play for him. Who are CC's first and primary targets? It seems like our moderators have been predicting accurately the football commitments from the hs population as well as the Klocks and fellow from Oregon. Somebody must have some insider info for inquiring minds about the basketball team- could you please now share? In all seriousness though, I hope CC won't just pull a Carmody and go the next season without filling the full scholarships available with talent- whether that be with starters or contributing backups. The only three names I've seen that have been independently linked to NU for 2017 (meaning they have offers from NU) are Mark Smith, Clifton Moore and Elijah Brown. If there is somebody else out there we are recruiting they are flying under the radar at this point.
