As noted above in our live "in time" comments, DaCat made the observation that, "...... what a pass and catch. He was fouled but scored anyway! Dererk is unstoppable!"

Question, if the ball had not gone into the basket would the foul have been called giving The Cats a chance to score - and win- at the free throw line with no time left for the Wolverines?

It gave the Cats the win, a likely tournament berth and sent Welsh-Ryan Arena in an uproar in its penultimate game before an extensive renovation. Fans stormed the court in what served as kickoff to a purple party that will come to a peak when Selection Sunday comes on March 12."
