In response to an inquiry today about "The Moose."
FWIW though on the last day of January this first ungulate pictured below showed up across the street from my house. Let's see, did Northwestern win any significant games between then and now?
I guess the Mojo Moose just got tired of waiting until football season to do their thing.
In addiiton, on the way home from Rotary this evening I encountered another Moose on the roadway. It is pictured in the second photo below.
Guess we will have to wait to see if this evening's Moose appearance is the scintilla of karma that tips the balance for Northwestern to get an invite to the Big Dance - as it sure looked like the creature was dancing as it ambled its way toward the snowbank.
And tonight's Dancing Moose:
