Anyone else curious as to why we had Taphorn guarding Robinson up 3 inside of a minute left? I guess maybe we wanted someone with length to bother his shot. But as soon as that play starts I'm yelling at the TV for Tap to stay home because it was clear Robinson was going to run him to the top of the key, then come right back to the inbound spot for the catch.
It's a well-designed play and not easy to defend (and Olah did challenge), but it seemed a little too easy to execute. Maybe nobody on our team stops it but I thought it was slightly odd that a guy who has struggled to get time all year because of his defense is the put in the position of being the key defender on the biggest possession of our season.
Maybe it's much ado about nothing, but it stuck out to me at the time. Loved the effort fighting back several times, and definitely think Tap was a net positive for us, just wondered about the approach in that spot.
