A thoroughly milquetoast thread, jjjjjj, but I hope folks enjoy:

Season Rushing Stats -

No one else in the Top 80 besides Justin Jackson.

With Jackson's big game against the Illini, Justin moves from 13th place to 8th place in most yards gained rushing in a season with 1,344 yards. He moved past the following wonderful years:

Jackson '14
Lundy '94 **
Wright '02
Adamle '70
Christian '89.

Justin is just 53 yards away from a Top 5 finish!

Career Rushing Stats -

Clayton Thorson jumps past Tim Hill into 82nd place with 374 career rushing yards. A 35-yard rushing day in the bowl game will have him jump past 4 others.

Warren Long moved from 70th place to become the 67th person in NU history to rush for 500 yards...landing squarely on the number. He passed Arby Fields, Eddie Quinn and Tracy Parsons. A 43-yard day in the bowl game will move Long up another 3 spots.

Justin Jackson - 2,531 career rushing yards...and only a sophomore. Jackson pushed past Greg Boykin and Noah Herron to move into 7th place all time. Jackson has accumulated more yards than any other sophomore in NU history. In fact, only the BIG three gained more than Jackson after three seasons! Jackson sits 94 yards behind Jason Wright and 112 yards behind Bob Christian. It sure would be nice to see JJ salting away a victory in the 4th quarter on January 1st, passing those NU luminaries.

Where does Justin stand on the season and career attempts list? I don't know. Research to follow this week?
Where does JJ stand across the Big 10? How about after the sophomore year? I don't know.

Go 'Cats!!
