Any other Cats fans in NYC thinking about going to this game or aware of a ticket block from the NU Club of New York or something? I will most likely hop on the train over to Piscataway. Wish the game time was a bit earlier than 7:30pm ET as I most likely won't get back until after 11, but whatever.

Go Cats

I live in Philly and was thinking about going, but once I saw the prices for nosebleed seats were high I said I’ll just enjoy my beer and the game at home

Last game of the regular season and could mean a lot, is a grudge game anyway and another huge poise challenge for NU. NU fans nearby will likely pay to see this one.

Say hello to Mulcahy for me after we shut down his game and give him a chronic case of whiny beer face.

Yeah, I have vendettas.
Your grudge is misdirected. Admissions rejected him.

I plan on attending. Only question is do I try to get primo seats, assuming I can’t make it to our tournament game? More to come!

I mean...it COULD be the game that decides the regular-season championship.

An old man yelling at clouds is entitled to having a vendetta against a kid who had a C in social studies.

I know that. I just don’t like his court demeanor. He’s whiny.

And he plays for the opposition.
We’d love him if he played for the Cats. And he almost did.

It’s kind of like a Dennis Rodman or Draymond Green situation. You absolutely love them if they play for your team… but generally dislike them if they don’t.

Now…

I’m also approaching old man status. Blaming admissions or lazy HS counseling is good clean American fun. I hope I never get so old that I blame an 18YO for poor grades.

But I’m avoiding dirty old manhood as best I can. That, as @Hungry Jack knows all too well, is much harder….

Or as Ozzie Guillen supposedly said about AJ Pierzynski, "You hate him if he's on the other team, but if he's on your team, you hate him a little bit less."

I'm more worried about the younger Spencer having another career game and lighting us up again. Gotta close out on the shooters!

I don't think I will be getting primo seats. Looking at somewhere in 200 or early rows of the 300 level, depending on where ticket prices go in the next week or two. Would be nice to sit near the NU bench but the only seats in sections 111-113 are going for about $300 right now which doesn't quite seem worth it. I will almost certainly be going to the tournament game (knock on wood) so we will splurge there!

Coming in from Philly for the game and meeting another Cats fan. I asked the athletic dept but they said they only had 20 tixs. Splurged on tixs in 111 row F. I think that puts us behind the Cats bench.

One year i guess 3 years ago we got seats first row right behind the video replay guy and we were on tv so much during the game. Those were only 100 each. Those were the days where neither team was very good.

I don't expect Rutgers to be much of a problem.
They really only have 6 players and they struggle to score.
The loss of Mag seems to have hurt them. We should be able to handle them by making Spencer work on defense and doubling Omuruyi in the post at various times to keep him guessing. I am still sore about how we lost to them at home. They stole one.

Spencer went off that night. I guess he was mad that we did not recruit him after taking his bro. The Cats should be prepped for him.

Rutgers, even when playing well earlier this season, had trouble scoring. The last few weeks, after Mag injury, they’ve been downright horrible on O. They willed one out against another poor offensive team at Wisconsin, showing a great deal of grit. Last night’s game vs UM at the RAC, the Knights looked terrible offensively. UM did not play great, but hit some big buckets late in shot clock situations.
