Gaziano just got his first career sack at the end of the 3rd Q in the Chargers-Titans game. Congrats!
Why in the world would we ever fire Gaziano? He doesn’t work for us.Gaziano just got his first career sack at the end of the 3rd Q in the Chargers-Titans game. Congrats!
How about “Gazilla keeps wrecking quarterbacks like he did Japanese cities back in the 50s”?Maybe “Gaziano makes the sack!” would have been better.😂
So excited for him to be in the game and get what the announcers said was his first career sack. He started the year on what us old-timers used to call the “taxi squat” (another interesting term I need to check out the etymology!) Gaz was one of my favorite NU players and am so happy he has been able to hang with the Chargers and see action with them. Now we just need Slater’s torn bicep to heal up. Go Cats!
Despite the current doldrums of the program we are still sending players to the NFL that are making it and getting playing time on the field.
Congrats to Gaz!
I am too lazy to Google it, but my vague recollection is that Paul Brown carried some extra players for the Browns by giving them jobs driving taxis. That way he could stay under the league player limit, but have bodies at hand when needed. They called these players the Taxi squad.Maybe “Gaziano makes the sack!” would have been better.😂
