Sammy White is a stud, first team All American. She just made the lax national team. Zero chance she got passed over.

That said, she played lots of games in 2022, 23, 24 & 25 so not sure how she would have any college eligibility left…

I think you get five years to play four of one sport but can use that fifth year to play another sport like Greg Paulus did when he went from Duke basketball to Syracuse football.
