4 key starters out and our WR can't block or catch. Now we have no rush D. Game over. We will not score more than 10 points today on offense like this.

And Thorson doesn't appear to know what he is doing. The game is too fast for him.

We are down 3 points after a quarter and you are ready to proclaim the season over? Hysterical much? Comical!

This is why I mostly laugh now when reading these boards. It's crazy. The season is falling apart?

Our offense is retarded. For a bunch of smart people we play like idiots

Offense has now scored a net of zero points with that turnover. You were saying?

Ball State is jacked up, we are depleted and our O, despite one big play, cannot sustain ANY drive.

I don't know that we can count on a KOR TD to spark our comeback.

We have had promising seasons go in the tank after single games before (OSU 2013, Iowa 2010, PSU 2001). I submit that it's a valid point.

We come into this game healthy, #17 ranked, top defense, then this happens. When if we win this one, it may be an uphill battle to make a bowl especially if these injuries are going to keep guys out for a long time.

I want to nominate this thread as an early contender for thread of the year!

You'll not get a lot of sympathy from us Gopher fans. We had 6 starters out and 7 players left the game today with injuries and did not return. Look forward to next weeks game. Good luck, but not too much.

When you have to say things like "I submit that it's a valid point" to support your own thread, you know that you crapped the bed. I remember terrible losses to teams like Miami of Ohio, Wake Forest, and Syracuse that we recovered from, so there shouldn't be anyone declaring the season over after a win. There are sure to be plenty of ups and downs this year, but seriously...suck it up.

Amen. The played like crap in the first half then came out and dominated the third quarter. Better to win a game on an off day than lose it......
