Stop the fight!

I guess the bench guys will have some fun in the second half. Tino could score in double figures.

Everyone in the game now needs practice with the offense. Letting any of the main four guys come out after halftime ... that I'm not sure about.

My all time nostalgic highlight from the broadcast team tonight...

Bardo bringing up memories of Shon Morris and Phil styles playing in the big ten. And to his credit, he talked about the fighting ilini coming into welsh ryan and the cats playing them tough. To paraphrase - bardo remembers kenny battle doing a 360 dunk in a three point game and driving sweet lou CRAZY.

And slightly earlier in the broadcast Bardo gave his toughest 5 players he had to guard in the big ten. Glen Rice, Steve Smith, Willie Burton, BJ Armstrong/Roy Marble, and i missed the OSU name, but im guessing it was Jimmy Jackson... The BIG TEN with 17 first and second rounders in 2 years.

And OMG - dickey simpkins on the broadcast team covering the depaul game.... Wasn’t he a former cat durung the Byrdsong era?

Dickey Simpkins played at Providence before the bulls took him in the first round

This was the largest win in program history, shattering the previous record of 57 points.

Though only about 500 people were there to see it, thousands of NU fans will claim they were there as the years go by and the legend grows.

Screw that, I'll be claiming an assist on Malnati's three at the buzzer.

That was a fun game, although I was a bit worried Pardon was going to get into a fight. Gaines leading the team in minutes was great for him.
