B-Mac took charge late, scoring 6 of the last 8 NU points as the Cats take a 39-35 lead into the half. Mac has 14 points and Law has 12 to pace the scoring. Pardon shows no sign of rust, with a team-high 4 rebounds to go along with two assists and a steal.

Not a bad half overall. A big stat: NU is 8-9 from the line while Minnesota is 0-4.

How about Dererk in his first game back? He scored the first two baskets of the second half with a smooth jumper from the top of the key, followed by a lefty hook in the lane. He's played 19 minutes already!

Ash had a nice inbounds play earlier! Bmac is playing excellent! We need him fresh for last 12 minutes of game! Love Derek Pardon! Difference maker!

Cats got to keep the pressure on. Impressed with the way Pardon is attacking the basket.

Jordan Ash with the steal, Scottie Lindsey with the dunk, and Welsh-Ryan Arena ERUPTS! NU is up 47-40, largest lead of the game, with 13:37 left.

Minnesota has outscored NU 6-0 since that electrifying Lindsey dunk. So much for momentum.

This is what happens when you have ash, skelly, and benson all I'm at the same time. It was 5 on 2 for a few minutes

Both teams playing streaky. Now it's NU's turn.

Collins tried to get an extra breather for Pardon and Mac before the under 12 timeout. With Lumpkin sitting with foul trouble, we had Ash Benson & Skelly on the floor. Paid for it as the Goofers hit consecutive threes to cut the lead from 7 to one.

The offense has just abandoned them. NU has missed its last six shots.

Just such horrendous shooting. No way you can win with that kind of offense down the stretch. Really disappointing no one stepped up. Shoot just 5% better in the second half and we probably win.
