Well, NU survived a cold start and lead by 8 at the half. Vic Law is leading the way, as usual, with 14 points. He’s hit half of the 3s (he’s 3-for-4) and is 5-for-8 from the floor. The rest of the team is 6-for-18 shooting.

When do we expect Ryan Taylor to take over a game or is he just going to be a complimentary player for us?

I sure hope he gets a sniff at the next level. That would be huge for this program to put a guy in the league... even a deep bench player.

Nice win! Busy watching our wrestlers wrestle tough at Midlands. Big match at 7pm where Sebastian Rivera wrestles world and NCAA champ Spencer Lee.

Did quite well for the last three quarters of the game and Taylor looked good for most of the game. Probably the best game Nance has played as well. Surprised not to see falzone in the game and surprised we kept all the starters in to the very end despite a reasonable lead.

I think the strategy is to only play Falzon in blowouts until he gets his legs back under him, unless there is a reinjury we don't know about. And this was a fairly competitive game throughout. As for the starters playing deep, first game in 8 days so you want them out there so that they are 100% game shape for Michigan St
