All in all, after turning the ball over nine times, NU has got to feel pretty good about trailing by just 2 at the half. Maryland is outscoring NU 20-6 in points in the paint, many of them because of baskets off turnovers. And Kevin Huerter -- who thought he'd be the leading scorer with 12.

I'd like to see NU get Pardon involved in the offense in the second half. He didn't get a shot and was held scoreless. Overall, NU's offense looks pretty good -- they're shooting 52 percent overall and 50 percent on 3s. They just need to tighten up the defense, particularly in transition.

On offense, make free throws and keep looking for backdoor passes and layups. On defense, get back in position.

Dave Ennant is so great, I feel bad for people that have to watch on TV or go to the game with out a transistor radio.

Man, NU has become a very runny team: 31-0 last night vs. Rutgers, 20-4 and now 16-2 tonight vs. Maryland.

Just an extremely high level game by both teams. It looks like the BTT final rather than a quarterfinal

I just hate it when refs decide to make themselves the game like this. Let them play!

Into the home stretch now with NU ahead. Need to match from here out. 6 minutes left with a 5 point lead..

You mean like when Trimble is out of control, misses the hopeless shot in the lane and the ref saves him with a fantom 2 shot foul.
