Perhaps some wisdom from The Bard can help us at this juncture as we have now lost five winnable games by one score.

"How poor are they that have not patience! What wound did ever heal but by degree?"

"The golden age is before us, not behind us."

On Fitz pressers: “You speak an infinite deal of nothing.”

On our offense: “Wisely and slow; they stumble that run fast."

On our fans: ‘Get thee to a nunnery.‘

On the portal: "How sharper than a serpent’s tooth it is to have a thankless child!’

On losing to SIU: "Misery acquaints a man with strange bedfellows."

On PF taking another HC job: “Doubt thou the stars are fire; Doubt that the sun doth move; Doubt truth to be a liar; But never doubt I love (NU)."

On JON: "Et tu, Brute?"

Hungry,

That was impressive. Since you have a knack for this, what in our present circumstances goes well with, “A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.”

On what the playoff system has done to the once illustrious Rose Bowl
Good one, sadly.

Since it’s just money now they should rename the bowls when they expand the playoffs to 8 teams.

QUARTER BOWLS,
HALF BOWLS,
DOLLAR BOWL.

Only at NU would we try and solve a football problem by reflecting on the works of Shakespeare!!!!!!! ya aint getting this on the Ohio St board
“We know what we are, but know not what we may be

Another good one. Let’s hope that what we may be is a of a hell lot better than what we are.

My favorite one from all of Shakespeare's quotes is "Friendship is constant in all other things, save in the office and affairs of love". Shakespeare's wise words remind us of the importance of patience in difficult times. It is easy to become discouraged and lose hope after a series of losses, but success often requires perseverance and a willingness to learn from mistakes. Healing also takes time, and rushing the process can lead to further harm. Instead of dwelling on past failures or successes, we should focus on the opportunities ahead. Moreover, I appreciate the beauty and complexity of Shakespeare's masterpieces, including "Macbeth". I found on a source some essays that show more about the ambition and cruelty of Lady Macbeth. This book is among my favorite ones. I adore it because it is about light, life, darkness and death. So those who haven't read it yet, they miss so much.
