Shame that McIntosh is "credited" with such a poor shooting day...

Getting a Big Ten win with Mac playing that way is found money. And even on a bad day for him, Mac made some key plays, including a floater with 4 minutes to go and that alley-oop to Pardon near the end.

Oh, completely agree. I actually meant that as a compliment for how good he's been this year. He's not going to go 0-5 from 3 very often.

We do not have to rely on any one player every night. We have enough shooters that we can afford to play the hot hand. A luxury for an NU team

^ Which is why Lindsey has been seeing more action than Tap lately - CC wants to ride the hot hand.

UN did a nice job of focusing on BMac. I think the Pardon game was somewhat the result of that.

I hope this game forces teams to concentrate more on the Cats' big men and open things up juuuuuust a bit more for Demps and BMac.

When Olah went down, I thought this would be the game plan against the Cats: Shut off the guards and make the other guys beat them. Well, Pardon, Lindsey and Falzon rose to the occasion yesterday and gave future opponents other things to think about.
