Should Luke stay in Europe for a couple months?

Luke has been playing rather poorly/inconsistently for the past 1-2 years, but he seems to play much better in European Tour events. This weekend he is playing very well again in England, and beating Rory McElroy soundly. Maybe he should spend a couple months over there and get his confidence and game in better shape, and then come back to the U.S. Tour. (I'm not sure he is even eligible for the U.S. Open right now without having to go through qualifying because he is outside the top 50 in WR.)
