I was hoping Tomi was going to get the sentimental local guy final pick of the night, but turns out that went to a different purple Wildcat.

A cover band playing the Beastie Boys to close out the night was spectacularly weird.

I just caught footage on facebook - he appeared to be at a bar/party with family and friends. His phone rang, he ran into the corner, and then announced "Tennessee" to a round of applause from his people.

I, too, thought the etiquette was to be physically present if you were expected to go in the first round, but I guess not.
