So is the Purdue win Quad 2 now?

Maryland has a pretty favorable remaining schedule and tied for third. At Nebraska, PSU and OSU, home games against Minn and NU. That looks like 4 and 1 if we can beat them at home.

The rest of the top also look to have solid odds of winning at least 2-3 more games, but if we take Iowa and Maryland, I like our chances.

Based on the rest of the schedule, I think Maryland has the best shot at second place, but that's why they play the games! Hopefully NU can be the team that takes 'em down at home down the stretch.

At home the have been really strong. 8-0 but on the road only 1-6. Unfortunately we have to play them there. We are a good road team but it will still be very tough

The 'Cats have also been the best road team in the conference. Something has to give.

Quad 1 victories include home victories against the Top 30 NET teams so the Purdue victory seems safe. At this point in the season, you basically are what you are, like the GPA for a student whose reached their senior year. The victories can still help and the losses will hurt, but the weight of each win or loss is going to have on the overall NET rating is not going to have the same fluidity that something like AP and Coaches polls might have that are more opinion based. Purdue is still in the top 5 in the NET ratings. Perhaps, if they had a string of QUAD 3 and 4 losses, it would put a bigger negative dent on their NET rating but they don't have that negative opportunity on their remaining schedule. If they lost all their remaining games (which they won't) they would still be 24-8 before the tourney selection, which is still a pretty good (.750 winning percentage) and perhaps still a Top 30 NET rating.

They are one of the best road teams. If they go 3-0 in their last three then you can say they are the best. They are also one of the best teams in the conference right now
