Spread against UM

UM by 5?

NU stopped their 3-point shooting attack last time.

GO CATS!

Seems reasonable for a noon game on a neutral court. Will be as dead as Crisler was during a snow storm a couple of weeks ago. Should be a close game again but Michigan has more Jimmies and Joes who can create their own shot down the stretch.

Will likely come down to 3-point shooting (since Michigan is so heavily reliant on the perimeter game as well), despite Michigan winning last game with their 3-point struggles. We really should extend out the zone even more, force the dribble-drive action.

Feed the beast! Olah had 19 last time but was 1-6 from 3. Get the guy inside and go to work. We can do this.

I love John Beilein so much. Unconventional, risk-taking.

I don't know if this was mentioned on the board or during any broadcasts, but his "Power Forward", Duncan Robinson, is a transfer from Williams College. No scholarship offers out of high school, but the dude can shoot. (He's also got a wildly detailed Wikipedia page, either written by a stalker or his dad.)

Any time a team blows a 17-4 lead without any true meltdown - NU simply got outplayed in the final 32 or so minutes a few weeks ago - it feels more like Michigan 'figured us out' than some sort of series of bad breaks. I'm hopeful, but not optimistic.

As someone stated here, NU has beaten the teams thay weren't as good as NU, and lost to the teams that were better. Michigan is a little better.

Olah often seems to have good games against Michigan. Tre also seems to have found his stroke. The stars are aligning for NU to take out Michigan.

Given your ability to predict games of late, I am going to predict a 'Cats win then.

Yeah, but they killed us with the dribble drive for most of the second half in Ann Arbor. Gotta think - moreso than in most games - that it'll come down to which team is more effective beyond the arc.

Interesting, NU rose bowl, that is exactly what Chris Collins said today in previewing the game.

Hey, maybe RB is writing scripts for Chris. Yes, NU and especially Demps and Falzon need to hit from the 3 but I'm thinking that if Olah and Pardon have monster games, NU is a winner.

Unless the Cats can stop Michigan from driving to the rim, it won't matter who is more effective from 3.........
Collins says Michigan wins most of its games with superior 3-point shooting (they have multiple weapons out there). Yes, we need to protect the rim better, but I think we'll try to take them out of their comfort zone on offense. It almost worked the first time and maybe it would have if we didn't start missing shots in the last five minutes.

-2 in my morning newspaper in Florida. I am surprised. I was expecting -4 to -6 range.
