Well, spring ball got underway this morning, without much fanfare. No kickoff press conference this year, anyway. We haven't gotten a media schedule for spring practice as of yet. Maybe they'll allow media to watch a Saturday practice or two (or not). I'm hopeful that we'll get Fitz and/or player availability once a week. We'll see.
You'll recall that Fitz used to do the on-the-record/off-the-record lunch with media at the start of spring ball every year. They didn't do it last year because of COVID, obviously; but they didn't do it this year, either. I inquired about it but never got a response from NU. Too bad. That was my favorite media event.
