Our assistant coaches, recruiting coordinators, etc have struggled mightily. Even in our good years you never hear of Northwestern having a hot young coaching prospect. What is the impediment to us having a better staff is it pay, the job, Fitz, lack of upward mobility from being a coach at NU or something else? We are not doing a good job of evaluating players and we are not doing a good job of coaching people up either. We need to improve our talent evaluation and we have to take what we get and make them better. If that means pay for higher quality people then we need to step up and do that.
