Tickets are available from the athletic department at face value. Why should anyone buy them from you at face instead of supporting the program? Even if you're a Stanford fan, would you rather help a college program or some guy on the Internet?

I just don't think face value is an appropriate ask.

Actually, looking at the temperature forecast, shaded seats under the upper deck overhang wouldn't be bad.

Perhaps the desirable location is less available from the University. I looked about a week ago and the "best available" were not very interesting
