Hey guys - I'm heading to the game Saturday and bringing a car for the first time so that I can also get to the Texas/ND game Saturday night. I have no parking passes, so the East/West lots and golf course aren't options unfortunately.

Would people recommend parking in downtown, like at the Davis Station, and just using the L to get back and forth? Or are there other realistic options closer to Ryan field for someone getting in around 9:30am for the game? I know that some of the gameday info lists street parking in the general vicinity, but have any of you had success with that lately?

You can probably park easily on Ridge Ave south of the stadium. Most of the local streets around the stadium are No Parking. I think you can also find places north of Isabella, north of Ryan Field. Parking in the city lot by the Hilton Garden Inn and taking the shuttle is a safe option.
