So far< Stanford's offense looks okay against USC. Their defense is getting pushed around.Just did something @USC that they couldn't do @NU...scored a TD. 7-7 in the 1st.

Hogan is throwing some pretty good balls and the running game is opening holes between the tackles.Stanford's offense doing much more against USC than they did against us. Wow.
At the Half SU leads 24-20. Hogan is 13 for 17 with 221 Yds and 2 TDs. Where was that guy in our game?
Serious question: When can we say, "NU has the best D in the B1G!"? Next week will be pretty meaningless even if we shut them out. If we hold Minny to 10 points?Jet lagged.......

This Stanford team had to wake up at 4:40 pm for this game, and yet they seem to be doing ok. Now that's good coaching and senior leadership.
I'm sure nap time was mandatory. At least it was for me.
Maybe they wanted Clayton to get reps against a D1 defense?Too bad Fitz and Philips went soft next week and didn't schedule USC
I saw the stat that Northwestern is 7-1 in non-conference Power 5 games the last four years, more wins than anyone else. Exactly why would any name brand team be calling Phillips to schedule a game? Is there any upside?Too bad Fitz and Philips went soft next week and didn't schedule USC
