When opposing team shoots 40%+ 3PG%, NU is 1-6. The exception was @ Indiana. Indiana shot 50%, though on lower than the average # of opponent 3FG attempts. NU won the turnover battle +9.
When opposing teams shoot less than 40% 3FG%, NU is 11-2. The exceptions are @Illinois and vs Michigan. Illinois shot 29.2% and NU shot 42.9%. NU won the turnover battle +6. However, we shat the bed on 2FG% (31%). Michigan shot 35%, which is their average. However, it was NU’s worst 3FG% game of the year (15.8%). Was one of just two games we shot below 20%. Oddly, the other game was the victory over Purdue (18.2%).
