The Northwestern football staff is going to be busy this weekend.

There will be 16 official visitors on campus in Evanston for this, the biggest visit weekend of the year. Even if 15 of them are Class of 2015 commits who have already pledged to become future Wildcats and don't require much selling, that is a pretty big number. Of Northwestern's 18 commits, the only ones not visiting this weekend are Cameron Green, who both had scheduling conflicts and will visit next weekend.

The only uncommitted prospect on the guest list is Jordon Williams, a two-star safety from Houston (Texas) Jersey Village. WildcatReport thinks that the 6-foot-1, 195-pounder will eventually end up committing to Northwestern, but he seems intent on taking an official visit to SMU next weekend before making a final decision. The wild card in this hand is new Mustang coach Chad Morris and whether the former Clemson offensive coordinator can persuade Williams to stay in-state.

Sources say that Northwestern is looking for two more players to finish off the 2015 class, which, with 15 three-stars and three two-stars, is ranked 42nd in the country by Rivals. There are three safeties in the hunt for those two spots: Williams, John Petrishen.

Williams is the favorite in that quartet, while Cisrow is probably the second-most likely. A three-star from powerhouse Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas, Cisrow has a final four of Northwestern, Georgia Tech, Utah and West Virginia, and will visit Evanston officially next weekend.

Petrishen, a three-star from Pittsburgh (Pa.) Central Catholic, seems to be a longshot at this point. He has official visits lined up to Pittsburgh (this weekend), Penn State (Jan. 23-25) and Virginia (Jan. 30-Feb. 1) for the last three weekends before signing day. Any official to Northwestern will have to be during the week, and he says it's a 50-50 chance whether he will visit NU or Maryland.

(Three-star cornerback Chris Williamson was once thought to be in the hunt, as well, but his popularity has exploded in recent weeks so he is no longer in the picture. He has set up officials to North Carolina, Michigan and Florida.)

However, there may be at least one other player in the mix for Northwestern. After talking to sources, WildcatReport has reason to believe that there might be another, still unidentified prospect out there that the Wildcats are recruiting. Stay tuned…
