Takeaways from Northwestern's loss to Duke
Here's what we learned from Northwestern’s 31-23 loss to Duke on Saturday at Ryan Field.
I’m just going reporting what NU media relations told us.Hi Lou. Good article. Minor correction. Todd Sheets was a wide out in 1980. I was at the game v Purdue when Kerrigan targeted him all game. See link. 33 recs, no carries.

Most of them not born in 1980 😀😀I’m just going reporting what NU media relations told us.
I second my boy phatty. Sheets was definitely a wide receiver. Most of them not born in 1980 😀😀
Sheets was absolutely a wide out, one of the few weapons we had. Kerrigan's game was highlighted in Sports Illustrated
I downloaded the media guide, which is a weighty tome, and Hull's game trailed only Sheets and Jim Lash, both receivers not RB. So yeah best receiving yards game for NURB ever.
