Even more impressive (for real) is that in the Patriot, there is no neutral site. Had to win 4 straight road games to do it. WIth a team 10-19 coming into the tournament. It's a pretty tough feat to have make the NCAAs and lose 20 games (unless they win the NC) in the same season...

Until last week (which is to say, during the regular season), they were 0-9 on the road in conference.Even more impressive (for real) is that in the Patriot, there is no neutral site. Had to win 4 straight road games to do it. WIth a team 10-19 coming into the tournament.
That's amazing. To lose at every team in the conference on the road during the season ... then beat 4 of them, including the 2 best, on the road in do-or-die games. That's just unfathomable.Until last week (which is to say, during the regular season), they were 0-9 on the road in conference.
Fact, no? That is a rare feat...
Sheesh. Did he pee in your water bottle at some point or what?

It's also a tough feat to NOT make the NCAAs for 77 straight years.
I am very happy for BC and wish him well. That was just an amazing four game run, especially given what the Crusaders showed in the regular season. In the Dance they will probably wind up as canon fodder against a 1 seed, but who cares. They're in.
Congrats to Coach Carmody. I'm happy for him but Lehigh played an absolutely terrible first half and didn't seem to have anyone who could make a 3-pointer against the 1-3-1 and/or 2-3 zone (four different players missed possible game-tying threes at the end and none of the shots came close!). Good strategy to collapse in on their center Tim Kempton and make the other four guys try to beat you. They'll almost certainly be in one of the First Four games against another 16-seed so they'll have a good chance to win a tournament game.
But then they'll get obliterated by a 1.
Lost by 33 at Kansas earlier this year. So they'll lose big, but at least they will be familiar with the level of opposition. They'll almost certainly be in one of the First Four games against another 16-seed so they'll have a good chance to win a tournament game.
