Talen Horton-Tucker talks about his Tuesday visit to NU

A few weeks ago I read an item that said some D1 coaches had questions about THT's athleticism and his ultimate position in college.

Having seen him play on film I thought this really bizarre. The young man is big with a capital B. Wide-shouldered and strong. He plays tough like many city kids do....doesn't back down from contact. Seems to jump just fine, but looks like he climbs the ladder more on defense (blocks and rebounds) than to dunk (which he looks to do without a lot of effort.

If he's looking to put on a show it's with his passing. He's an unselfish player and looks to relish the assists. Has a good handle.

Looks to me to be a prototypical Big Ten wing.

Pretty excited about the prospect that he chooses NU.

Had a great visit to Illinois today. Gushed about it much like he did about NU visit. Talked about his next visit to Illinois. He did say that he may not take all the visits he has lined up.

So nice that his Mom lives just 10 minutes from campus...it would be such a treat for her to be able to watch every home game her THT plays in that brand new arena.

Combes, there's a bright corner, why don't you move over there and darken it?

I'm not sure there's a more annoying Illinois fan poster. Showing up to a rival board only when there's good news for your team AND being boring doing it. Come on.

Hey Combes, how are things going with Illinois football? I hear Lovie is really knocking it out of the park on the recruiting front.

Hey, don't knock Lovie. They're struggling now, but it looks like he's WAY ahead of the game for the 2025 class.
